Batterers Intervention

Our Batterers Intervention Program is a 12-week program for offenders in Intimate Partner Violence whether court-mandated or seeking services on a voluntary basis.  Our goal is to provide them with the necessary tools to combat issues of Power & Control and connecting them to necessary resources.  The goal of this program is not simply to "obtain a certificate of completion" in order to satisfy court-mandated requirements, but that true change begins to take place.

The curriculum, which is based on the Duluth Model, is provided in both English/Spanish.  In this program, we focus on themes stemming from NonViolence, Trust, Accountability, Parenting, Respect, and Economic Partnerships, and other areas.  the fee is $25 per class.  The group normally meets in person but at the moment is being facilitated virtually via Zoom, due to current COVID precautions.  We will update once services resume in person.

#Free2BMe

Our #Free2BMe Program is for young adults and teens as a form of support to discuss real issues faced by our youth.  We discuss various topics such as teen violence, single-parent household, self-esteem, self-worth, mental health, emotional health, and building healthy relationships.  Our goal is to provide a safe space for teens and young adults to share freely, as they are surrounded by support, providing them with tools to build them up, as they continue on this journey of self-discovery.

This group is provided in both English/Spanish, for teens ages 13-17, and young adults ages 18-25.
